Foxboro blasted with snow before Pats season finale

FOXBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- Foxboro is one of the areas bracing about 10 inches of snow, just a day before 68,000 fans get ready to head there to catch the Pats regular season finale against Miami.
Heavy snow is sticking to the parking lot and crews are preparing for a long night of plowing. But, Patriots fans are hoping the storm will give their team an advantage over Miami in Sunday’s game.
“Tons of snow tonight, bodes well for Tom Brady tomorrow,” said Ducette.
John Ducette and his girlfriend will be here for Sunday’s game. They may end up leaving the car at home and just walking the five miles.
“I'll be here,” said Ducette.
“Even if we have to walk in the snow. If it takes us all day, we’ll get here,” said Ducette’s girlfriend.
Clean-up work is already underway and Foxboro could see upwards of 10 inches of snow. Parking could prove challenging, but fans said the snow is worth it because year after year the Patriots seem to find magic playing in it.
“I don’t care man. It’s the patriot’s game. It snows 17 inches, I don’t care. It’s the fun of watching football outdoors and what better weather than 10 inches of snow,” said a fan.
“The past few years we've had some great Snow Bowl games, I think it'll be a good game,” said a fan.
“I think it might hurt Miami a little bit to come to the Northeast and play the Patriots. I think we have an advantage for sure,” said another fan.
Foxboro could get a foot of snow by the end of the storm.
