OR teen arrested after Facebook post about driving drunk

UNDATED (WHDH) -- Oregon police arrested an Oregon teen for a suspected hit and run after a Facebook post spurred tipsters to turn him in.

Jacob Cox-Brown allegedly posted this message to his Facebook, "Driving drunk... Classic. But to whoever's vehicle I hit, I am sorry".

The message was brought to the attention of Astoria police, who were already investigating a hit and run crash which left significant damage.

Police were able to match the damage to a vehicle found at Cox-Brown's house.

The 18-year-old was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to perform the duties of a driver.
