MARSHFIELD, Mass. (WHDH) -- Marshfield police said this is very active investigation. Police said their response to a home invasion led to a drug bust. Police arrested 20-year-old Eddy Monteiro. Monteiro will face several charges relating to home invasion. He was being held on $100,000 bail while police search for two other suspects.

Marshfield Police were called to the Acorn Street home just before midnight for a report of a gunshot. Police said the suspects entered the home and tied up three victims who were all in their 20s. The suspects pistol whipped the victims and fired one shot but the bullet didn't hit anyone. One was taken by helicopter to the hospital for a serious head and face injury. Police said the suspects knew the victims and police said inside the Marshfield home they found a set up to grow a lot of marijuana.

“The house that was robbed turned out to be a pretty elaborate indoor marijuana grow operation. We were able to uncover thousands of dollars in cash, pounds of marijuana, grow lights, carbon dioxide tanks. It was a pretty elaborate operation,” said a Marshfield police official.

Marshfield Police said at least one victim will likely in the future face charges relating to that grow operation. The suspect arrested for the invasion is expected to go before a judge Wednesday while police search for the other suspects.
