Roads cleared, wet roadways Foxboro's main concern

FOXBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- There wasn’t as much snow in Foxboro as in cities west of Boston like Worcester.
Small flakes were coming down by mid-morning and the roads looked especially good compared to the morning commute.
Luckily, when plows came through they managed to scoop up all of the snow. The wintry mix that fell left behind a heavy compact snow, making for a very slow commute all morning long.
The major concern in Foxboro was wet roadways. Between five and seven in the morning thick heavy flakes were falling. Drivers said they were surprised that the roads weren’t that bad.
Down the road here on Route 1, in Gillette Stadium it was a good thing they were busy putting up the AFC Championship logo Tuesday. They would not have been able to get done in Wednesday’s weather.
Traffic was not a problem in Foxboro, although cars had to power through the heavy slop. The snow that remained on cars and building was lighter, fluffy and would be easy to remove for those who plan to head out later in the day.
