HALIFAX, Mass. (WHDH) -- A big win for a mechanic in the bay state!

A Halifax native won $10 million on a state lottery scratch ticket.

He claimed his winnings last Friday.

Steven Palaschak, a married father of three, told lottery officials he plans to use his winning to pay off his daughters' student loans, buy a new truck and set up a trust account for his children.
