SEEKONK, Mass. (WHDH) -- A barrel placed on a Seekonk veteran’s statue was removed.

The town’s director of veterans services reportedly said he used the traffic barrel to cover up the statue so it could be unveiled at this weekend’s Veteran’s Day ceremony.
