'Bearded bandit' allegedly hits 8th bank

UNDATED (WHDH) -- The serial robber known as "the bearded bandit" allegedly struck again in Rhode Island.
Authorities say a suspect matching his description hit a bank in Rhode Island Tuesday morning.
Police believe the same man robbed a bank in East Providence Tuesday afternoon. It would be the bearded bandit's 8th robbery since February.
Last week, the FBI announced a $2,500 reward for information leading to his capture.
