Rehoboth grandmother charged with OUI

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Rehoboth grandmother is facing charges after police say she drove drunk with her 3-year-old granddaughter in the car.
Geraldine Shallcross, 70, appeared in court Monday to face charges including DUI and reckless endangerment of a child.
Court papers say she had a blank stare on her face when she was pulled over, she was flush and her eyes were glossy, and she smelled of alcohol.
Field sobriety tests were done and the grandmother was unable to stand heel to toe. She told police she had two glasses of wine.
The court file says the woman was handcuffed after the field sobriety testing was over and taken to the Rehoboth Police Department. Her granddaughter was released to her aunt.
The woman is not being held but she must follow conditions such as not driving with any children in the car.
