Boat capsizes off Stamford, 1 still missing

STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) -- Four people have been pulled from Long Island Sound and rescue workers were searching for a fifth after a boat capsized off Stamford.
Coast guard officials say the accident occurred when the 24-foot boat hit a breakwater at Shippan Point around about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
WVIT-TV reports the boaters are from New Rochelle, N.Y.
Crews from as far away as Cape Cod were assisting in the rescue effort. Four passengers from the boat were brought to shore in Greenwich by the Coast Guard just after 1 a.m.
There was no immediate word on their conditions.
