DANIELSON, Conn. (AP) -- State police have issued a silver alert seeking the public's help in finding a missing 14-year-old girl from Danielson.

Troopers said Wednesday that Samantha Filbert has been missing since Tuesday. State police say she's about 135 pounds with hazel eyes, strawberry blond hair and braces. She was last seen carrying a blue duffel bag and wearing a sweat shirt, jeans or sweat pants and black sneakers.

Anyone with information about Samantha is urged to call state police.
