Police release clue, photo of hat, in Brockton murder
BROCKTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- Brockton Police released a picture of a clue they’re hoping will lead them to the person responsible for the murder of a Brockton minister.
Brockton Police released a photo of a hat. The hat is black and red with a Red Sox logo on the front and a sticker on the brim. Police want to know who it belongs to.
Investigators said someone beat 74-year-old Lee Harmon with a hammer Tuesday night and left the hammer in the road.
Relatives said Harmon was riding his bike to go help his daughter, who has cerebral palsy.
Harmon was a minister and a great-grandfather.
