Bay State residents stock up for storm

READING, Mass. (WHDH) -- Many are rushing to the stores to purchase essential supplies before the storm hits Friday.
“It’s a zoo in there. There’s nothing left on the shelves…I think I got every bottle of water that they had in stock,” said Elizabeth Fraiser.
“Batteries, Duraflame logs…the usual,” said Michael Ross.
At the Home Depot down the street, they're restocking during a lull; salt, shovels and snow blowers.
Joanna Spinosa already has some salt and water at home but with a storm this big coming she wants to make sure she has enough.
“I have a lot of it, but just want to be prepared. You never know,” said Spinosa.
Others were hoping to get through the winter without buying this stuff like Michael Taffe, who came in for a snow brush.
“I’m thinking we’re going to get a lot of snow,” said Taffe.
