BILLERICA, Mass. (WHDH) -- Watch out YouTube! Here comes Billerica High, ‘Gangnam Style!’

"The whole beat of the song. The kids I babysit for can sing the whole thing and it's in Korean,” said Christine Piacenza, who planned the music video.

A physics teacher who graduated from Billerica High School six years ago starred in the video. Others were asked, but he's the one who said yes.

"I have seen the video before, but I never thought I’d be portraying this person,” said Jeff Beckford, a physics teacher at Billerica High School.

The original from Korean pop star PSY is now a worldwide sensation. Now, Mr. Beckford gets his time in the spotlight.

"I think it was fabulous. He nailed it. And that's the only take we took," said Shawn Landry, a media class teacher.

“I was just shaking. I was really nervous, but I’m really glad that it turned out the way that it did,” said Beckford.

The whole school was there in the gym for the pep rally and video shoot. A senior was running the camera.

“It was just like a fantastic way to bring the school together. I think all the administration worked really well together, all the kids were pumped to be doing this type of stuff,” said John-Michael Ponte.

Billerica hasn’t beaten Chelmsford in a Thanksgiving football game for years, but perhaps this rally was the right amount of pep for a big win.
