SANDWICH, N.H. (AP) -- A Meredith woman has died after she and her passenger were thrown from her sport utility vehicle on Route 25 in Sandwich.

State police say 45-year-old Sherri Lewis was going west on Route 25 shortly before 12:40 a.m. Sunday when her SUV went off the road, veered back onto it and then rolled over. She and 41-year-old Robert Guidi, also of Meredith, were ejected.

The two were airlifted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where Lewis died. Guidi's injuries were not immediately known.
