PORTSMOUTH, Nh. (WHDH) -- A New Hampshire man faces charges after being accused of assault.

Police said 21-year-old Colin Krans of Dover beat a man in the head with an empty champagne bottle while at a party in Portsmouth.

Krans turned himself in to the Portsmouth Police Department on Saturday. Krans was charged with one count of simple assault and was released on personal recognizance bail.
