Child rescued from pool in Beverly

BEVERLY, Mass. (WHDH) -- A child was rescued after he was found unconscious in a pool in Beverly.
The homeowner says the 5-year-old was pulled out of the backyard pool and given CPR.
7News was told family and friends were at the home for an afternoon cookout when the incident occurred.
The homeowner said the child had been jumping into the pool all day but during his last jump, the homeowner thinks the boy kept his mouth open, taking in too much water.
An adult was able to quickly grab the boy out of the pool. The homeowner's daughter then resuscitated the boy.
The boy was breathing and alert when emergency crews arrived, the homeowner said.
The boy was transported to Beverly Hospital. He is expected to be fine.
