Litchfield, N.H. (WHDH) -- A man was killed in a shootout with police in Litchfield, New Hampshire Monday.

Police heard gunshots and found the suspect on the front porch of a residence with a gun.

A confrontation ensued and an officer shot the suspect. 

The suspect was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No one else was hurt.
