LACONIA, N.H. (WHDH) -- Three people were injured after a lightning strike in Laconia, N.H. Wednesday evening.

The three were transported to Lakes Region General Hospital, according to the Laconia Fire Department.

One victim was unconscious upon the fire department’s arrival, but regained consciousness shortly thereafter, according to officials.

Strong storms were passing through the area at the time of the strike.
