Suspect caught after escaping from NH hospital

EXETER, Mass. (WHDH) -- A burglary suspect was back in custody Tuesday morning after he escaping from a New Hampshire hospital Monday evening.
Police arrested 22-year-old Ryan Fogg Monday afternoon on outstanding warrants for attempted burglary and criminal threatening. Fogg was allegedly hurt during the arrest and taken to the hospital where he managed to escape, fleeing on foot into a wooded area.
State police caught him near the Kensington, Exeter town line, about ten miles from where he first escaped.
"The perimeter that we set up was evidently not big enough and he was able to get across to a different area of the woods," said Sergeant Peter Chilton, Exeter, N.H. Police Department. "The suspect was in pretty good shape and ran very fast. Did not want to answer his charges. We probably estimated he ran about 10 miles in the effort and he was pretty tired by the time the officers got him."
Fogg was taken to Rockingham County Jail. He faces escape and resisting arrest charges.
