Standoff in NH ends with barricaded man's death
NASHUA, N.H. (WHDH) -- Police surrounded a home on Dane Street in Nashua, New Hampshire where a man was holed up since 6 p.m. Wednesday.
That man was dead Thursday morning, though few details surrounding his death were immediately available.
Police say they were trying to serve an arrest warrant for a robbery when the man barricaded himself in the home. The street was blocked off and neighbors were pushed back from the scene, and police evacuated four to five homes surrounding the suspect's home.
Police say the suspect has stopped communicating with them and say they will not move in until they believe it is safe to do so.
