CHINA, Maine (AP) -- The Maine Warden Service has recovered the body of a 43-year-old man who went missing while swimming in a central Maine lake.
Officials said the body of Tye Feihel of China was recovered from China Lake at noon Tuesday.
Feihel was last seen when he went for a swim at about 3 p.m. Monday.
Officials say Feihel, who had autism and schizophrenia, routinely started his swim at his residence and followed the shoreline before ending at a landing at the Lakeside Country Store, where his mother would pick him up and drive him home.
Monday was Feihel's first swim of the year, and he never made it to the shore.
