LONDONDERRY, N.H. (WHDH) -- Former youth football coach, Timothy Longua, is facing sexual assault charges.

This all came to the attention of the Londonderry New Hampshire police in February from the New Hampshire Department of Children, Youth and Families got an anonymous tip.

Longua, 41, is charged with multiple counts of sexually assaulting two middle school girls when they were 11 and 12 years old. Police said the alleged victims were schoolmates of the suspect’s daughter.

According to court documents the assaults happened last year at Longua’s Londonderry home when the alleged victims were at a sleepover with the suspect’s daughter.

The alleged victims said the suspect started fondling them in their sleep and woke them up. One of the girls allegedly pushed his arms away and said to him, ‘will you go.’

“I can tell you that we are looking at the possibility of other victims, but nothing thus far. I didn’t read anything in the affidavit about any further victims,” said Lt. Jim Jones, Londonderry Police Department.

“If you feel that you have been victimized, certainly contact us and we will come to your residence and speak to you, absolutely,” said Lt. Jones.

Longua is reportedly an assistant coach with the Londonderry Wildcats football team, a group of second and third graders. The team president put out a statement saying Longua did pass background checks for with the National Center for Safety Initiatives.

Longua turned himself in on Friday and was arrested. He has been released on $10,000 cash bail.
