Framingham mother dances her kids onto school bus

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (WHDH) -- A mother's fancy footwork got the school year off on the right foot. The mom made sure her kids had a little spring in their step -- and it wasn’t the first time she's inspired them this way.
Some moms wipe away a tear, some remain stoic, but for this particular mom in Framingham, the first day of school is party time.
As the bus arrived to get her two boys last week, 11-year-old George and 9-year-old Angelo took off, and mom had some fun, with her video camera and iTouch rolling.
“[My message is] bye-bye, go to school. Yup, mommy needs her time,” said Tracy Moutafis.
Moutafis searched for just the right music to set the tone, and she knew it when she found it.
“Oh here's a good one, ‘Celebration,’ and I could hear my husband laughing from the kitchen so I said that’s the one ‘cause we’re going to celebrate the first day of school,” said Moutafis.
The bus driver even called out to Framingham’s dancing queen.
“He pulls up and he goes, ‘I like your style,’” Moutafis said.
The boys say they love to watch the video with mom after school.
“They think it’s hilarious. They love it,” Moutafis said.
This isn't the first year Moutafis has pulled this off -- in fact this is her fourth year. The first two years she danced without music, and last year, after a tough summer, she chose Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” to send the kids back to class.
