NEWTOWN, Conn. (WHDH) -- Police said they've found thousands of dollars of video games in the home of the shooter.

Family and friends said Adam Lanza would isolate himself to play violent games for long stretches of time.

Lanza suffered from Asperger's Syndrome.

Asperger's patients have difficulty with social interactions, but doctors have said there's no predisposition toward violence.

Police began looking to see if there's a link between the shooting and Lanza's time spent playing games.
