MASHPEE, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Mashpee teenager was accused of sending threatening messages to another teen on twitter is now facing some serious charges.

The 16-year old student at Mashpee High School allegedly tweeted about "shooting everyone up".

Police said the tweet was sent to a student at Rockland High School before a big basketball game between the two schools.

The teen was charged with a felony and two misdemeanors.
