HYANNIS, Mass. (WHDH) -- A man in Hyannis has been accused of threatening officers with a machete.

Police said Anthony Silva showed the weapon when they came to arrest him on drug charges.

Officers eventually disarmed Silva.

He is charged with resisting arrest and possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
