Another great white shark spotted off Mass. coast
BOSTON (AP) -- Another great white shark has been spotted off Cape Cod.
WCVB reports that the shark was seen off Chatham on Saturday south of the entrance to Chatham Harbor and about 100 yards from shore.
A photo was taken from a plane and the shark was confirmed by state biologist Greg Skomal.
State fisheries officials said last week that two great white sharks tagged last summer off the Cape Cod coast were detected via transmitter signals picked up off Chatham.
The sharks are drawn to the area by an abundance of seals that sharks eat.
