BELMONT, Mass. (WHDH) -- Overnight, malfunctioning boilers cause a carbon monoxide scare at an apartment building in Belmont.

Fire officials said residents ignored carbon monoxide detectors and a gas odor in the building for up to five hours.

None of the residents said they felt any effects.
