BOSTON (WHDH) -- For the second time a juror was dismissed from the murder trial of Dwayne Moore, meaning those who remain on the panel have to start their deliberations from scratch, yet again.

Jurors have been trying to decide the fate of Moore, who is accused gunning down four people, including a child, on Woolson Street in Mattapan in Sept. 2010. A fifth victim was shot, but was paralyzed and is now in a wheelchair. Moore, 35, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

For the second time since deliberations began the judge has replaced a juror. This time is because a juror had to leave to tend to a gravely ill relative out of state. A new juror was randomly selected from the two remaining alternates.

“He is now excused for reasons personal to him and having nothing to do with his service as a juror on this case or any views of the evidence,” said Judge Jeffrey Locke.

Earlier this week, the judge dismissed a juror for doing independent ballistic research online and sharing it with other jurors.

Victim’s relatives have been extremely frustrated with the case. They erupted when the first trial ended with a hung jury and mistrial for Moore. Moore’s co-defendant was acquitted.

Now the relatives face one more delay and the judge is asking the jury to carry on.

“I’d ask you to keep faithful to your oath…and to finish the mission we are all upon,” said Locke.

There is only one alternate juror left. If the case loses two more jurors there is a possibility of another mistrial.
