NU engineering students test gingerbread houses

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Civil engineering students got a sweet lesson at Northeastern University.

They built nine gingerbread houses then put their blueprints to the test in a simulated earthquake.

In the end, only two were left standing. The winning designs used the most marshmallows to hold the walls together.
