Police investigating death of local real estate agent

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Boston police are looking for clues in the death of a local real estate agent.
Officers on a routine patrol found 27-year-old Steven DiRoberto near Franklin Street and Broad Street in the financial district late Friday night. He was unconscious.
DiRoberto was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Boston police are only saying the man was suffering from a head injury. Investigators have not determined the cause of death.
DiRoberto is from Worcester, but has been working at Boston Luxe, a local real estate agency.
Neighbors say DiRoberto was a talented baseball player who played in college at Worcester State.
The company released a statement on its website Monday saying, “Our family lost one of its brightest. And it was senseless. There is no lesson to take from it. Just a void where the person was. A man with high aspirations, large dreams, and the work ethic to get there.”
The homicide department of the Boston police is investigating, but there is no word on if officials are calling the man’s death a homicide.
