BOSTON (WHDH) -- One person was injured following a chemical spill at a Boston University building.

BU officials said there was a small chemical spill at the Life Science and Engineering Building. One person received minor injuries during the spill.

The victim was showered down at the scene and then transported to the hospital as a precaution.

There is no word on if the victim was student or faculty.
