BOSTON (WHDH) -- A dead whale discovered over the weekend is out of Boston harbor.

The whale washed ashore on one of the harbor islands, allowing crews to remove the carcass.

Veterinarians from the aquarium will do tests on the 55 foot Finback whale to figure out how the whale died.
