BOSTON (WHDH) -- A 3-year-old was transported to a Boston hospital with serious injuries after a television fell on top of the child Wednesday evening, according to police.

According to the Boston Police Department, the television fell on the child inside a Hyde Park home. The child was taken to Boston’s Children’s Hospital after being evaluated.

7News was told the child is in serious condition Wednesday night.
