BOSTON (WHDH) -- A bank robbery suspect showed more than her face at a Boston branch.

Police won’t say it, but the first thing on everyone’s mind when they see the surveillance photo of the suspect is that she is pregnant.

“I think she’s about ready to have a baby anytime now,” said one woman.

Police said the young woman walked into the Citizens Bank on State Street in Downtown Boston and passed a note to the teller saying she had a gun and asked for all the money in the drawer.

“Desperate for money -- I’ve got two kids at home and I know how expensive they are so that’s probably what’s going through her mind,” said Amber Heard.

“Don’t think we ever considered robbing a bank though,” said James Heard.

The suspect got away with the money.

“I don’t feel sorry for anyone that robs a bank…Because I was just over here at the Common today and there were like five or six places looking for people to work. So go find a job, you don’t need to rob a bank,” said Kay Barber.

Police said she didn’t have a getaway car, she just ran from the scene.

If you have any information on the suspect, Boston police urge you to contact them at 617-343-4200.
