BOSTON (WHDH) -- The "Boston Herald" reported fire hydrants and water pipes on I-93 north of the Zakim Bridge and near the convention center in South Boston are broken.

The discovery was made by the Boston Fire Department during inspections of tunnels, roads and bridges.

The Department of Transportation is working on repairs.
