MSPCA-Angell's Pet of the Week: Honeybun the cat

Posted: 08/24/12 at 9:30 am EDT

Hot on the heels of the MSPCA-Angell’s Olympics-themed “Take Home the Gold!” fee-waived senior cat adoptathon, the agency has just announced that all adult cats (over a year old) will be available for adoption at no fee on Saturday, Aug. 25 and Sunday, Aug. 26.

The End of Summer II adoptathon is the MSPCA’s third fee-waived adoption campaign in the last year – which have resulted in the placing of 886 cats into permanent homes!  It is against this backdrop that Honeybun, a wonderfully handsome 6-year-old male tabby, is now available for adoption.

Honeybun arrived at the MSPCA when his owner moved in with her fiancé, who was allergic to cats. This outgoing fellow is eager to play and capture the attention of those who walk by his kitty condo on the adoption center floor. He’s affectionate and loves to be petted. He gets along wonderfully with kids and has also lived with (and loves) other cats. Honeybun is already neutered and ready to go to his new home today!
