BPD releases photos of stabbing suspect

BOSTON (WHDH) -- The Boston Police are seeking the public’s help in efforts to identify a person of interest in connection to a stabbing in Roxbury on Wednesday.
Two young men got into a fight just as they got off an MBTA bus in the area of 65 Warren Street. The victim, 23-year-old Rashad Barnes, was stabbed in the neck, police said.
Family members of the victim said at a vigil Wednesday night he was just on his way to work.
The release by the Boston Police Department said:
As Boston Police Homicide detectives continue to actively investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident, community members with any information relative to this individual’s identity are encouraged to call the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
Community members wishing to assist this investigation anonymously can either call the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1(800) 494-TIPS or text the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463). The Boston Police Department will stringently guard and protect the identities of those who wish to help this investigation in an anonymous capacity.
