Needham is still beaming for Aly Raisman

NEEDHAM, Mass. (WHDH) -- The Bay State is still beaming with pride after Aly Raisman’s show-stopping performance in London.
In Aly’s hometown of Needham the buzz about her is Olympic-sized. One sign in the town hall barely has room for any more signatures.
People in Needham have different reasons for cheering Aly on -- they like her style, it helps bring people to local establishments, and it’s a happy topic that’s fun to talk about -- but they all seem to agree on how proud they are of the two-time gold medalist.
The small town is now known worldwide thanks to the 18-year-old gymnast, which is why the town is planning to officially honor the golden girl.
The town plans to have a parade and celebration that includes speeches and gifts. The celebration has not been scheduled.
