2-alarm building fire in Mission Hill displaces 8 people
BOSTON (WHDH) -- The Boston Fire Department responded to a building fire at 3:20 Wednesday morning.
Fire was showing in the first floor of a triple-decker home on Parker Street in Mission Hill.
A next door neighbor had pulled the lever on a street box to summon firefighters.
Two residents were transported by Boston EMS to the hospital. One woman from the third floor had smoke inhalation and a man from the first floor suffered burns.
Damage was estimated at $200,000. Eight people have been displaced and fire investigators are now on scene looking for a cause and point of origin.
