Boston Fire: Man dies in Charles River

BOSTON (WHDH) -- Police are investigating the death of a person in the Charles River on Thursday.

Officials responded to the Charles River opposite Gloucester Street at 12:51 p.m. The Boston Fire Department posted on Twitter saying credible reports say a person jumped into the river.

State police recovered an adult male about 10 feet from the dock in the water. Boston EMS pronounced the person dead, according to the fire department’s Twitter account.
