ROXBURY, Mass. (WHDH) -- One person was killed after a triple stabbing in Boston on Tuesday.

Witnesses told police that an argument broke out outside the social security office in Roxbury and escalated into a deadly confrontation around 1:54 p.m. at Dudley Street and Washington Street.

Police said the male suspect involved in the dispute pulled out a knife and stabbed three males between the ages of 17 and 21. One victim died from his wounds and the other victims sustained non-life threatening injuries.

"All we know is there was an argument right outside, and it carried on behind the building and into the parking lot where we believe the stabbing took place," said Supt. Bill Evans, Boston Police Department.

"All of a sudden I seen the officers chasing someone who ran out of the building," a witness said.

Police say a detail officer working nearby at a Sandra Bullock movie set jumped into action and took a person into custody. Now police say it's unclear if that person is the suspect in the stabbing, but they do say he was involved in the fight.

"We had several officers in Dudley Square doing details around the movie set here. They witnessed it, they chased after the suspect, and they apprehended the suspect about a block from here," Supt. Evans said.

The investigation is ongoing.

An MBTA bus crashed into a movie trailer on the set of the Sandra Bullock movie on Monday. Bullock was nearby, but was not hurt.
