Chance of rain for 4th won't dampen spirits

BOSTON (WHDH) -- There's a chance of rain, but that isn't stopping people from being ready for a blast Wednesday.
A thirty percent chance of rain and thunderstorms could dampen Fourth of July festivities in Boston, but preparations are still underway for a display that organizers say will be a sight to remember.
“The end of show is, I think, going to be a bit of a surprise,” pyrotechnic designer Eric Tucker said. “The finale song is different than anything we’ve ever done, and pyrotechnically how we’re dealing with that creatively is a little bit different. I think everyone is going to like it.”
Wednesday's concert will be a star-studded show.
Jennifer Hudson is the main act. She will perform some of her biggest hits.
Emmy-award winning actor and Andover native Michael Chiklis will host the night's festivities.
