Family seeks answers in N. Attleboro death
DORCHESTER, Mass. (WHDH) -- Family members continued to support one another outside the Dorchester home of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd.
“It’s terrible. I’ll never see my brother again,” said Lloyd’s sister, Shaquilla Thibou.
Lloyd’s body was discovered Monday an industrial park no more than a mile from Aaron Hernandez’s house. Up until Friday, the victim’s family had not spoken about any connection between Lloyd and Hernandez. But now, they’re saying the two knew each other.
“They were friends. They had to have been. They were together,” said Thibou.
However, when asked if the Patriots tight end picked up her older brother, Lloyd’s sister would not say.
“Um, no comment,” she said.
The promoter of Rumor night club in Boston said Hernandez and Lloyd were at the night club together Friday night, a little more than 48 hours before Lloyd’s body was found. His family wants justice.
“Somebody has to know what happened. It can’t be a bunch of question marks. Somebody has to know. Odin wasn’t the only one there so whoever else was there needs to speak up now,” said family member, Raheem Duncan.
Lloyd’s sister was left without answers for another day.
“I want to know what happened to my brother,” said Thibou.
The family continues to grieve in their Dorchester home. Relatives, neighbors and friends have been stopping by for comfort.
