Two found dead inside vehicle in Chelsea

CHELSEA, Mass. (WHDH) -- Two people were found dead inside a car in Chelsea Monday morning. Sources said the two people were shot.

Investigators called the two deaths on Crescent Avenue suspicious.

“There’s a lot of things that go on in Chelsea in respects to things like this and it’s just disturbing. I mean its bad enough you hear about everything else on the news,” said Warren Power.

Police were called to the area after receiving a 911 call just before 4 a.m. The initial call was for a car accident. Emergency responders found a Crown Victoria with livery plates resting up against a building. Inside the car were the bodies of an adult male and an adult female.

The car was towed from the scene late Monday morning. The driver’s-side window was shattered.

Investigators aren’t releasing the victims’ names until family members have been notified.
