MSPCA-Angell's Pet of the Week: Albert
Albert is a male rabbit who is less than one year old. He is gentle, very sweet and loves affection. Albert is litter box trained and in excellent health and the only thing he needs is the perfect forever home! Rabbits are wonderful family pets and excellent “starter” pets for young kids. The MSPCA recommends that rabbits live indoors and can do so either in a spare room or open part of the house, or a large cage. Albert, and rabbits like him, need plenty of fresh hay to eat every day along with lots of fresh water.
Because rabbits like Albert are prey animals they tend to startle easily. So an quiet environment free of loud, sudden noises—along with a routine feeding and cleaning schedule – will go a long way toward making him very happy.
