MSPCA-Angell's Pet of the Week: Kuvo the dog

Purebred dog lovers get ready! Kuvo the Lhasa Apso is ready to steal your heart. This adorable six-month-old purebred was surrendered to the MSPCA-Angell's Adoption Center in Jamaica Plain in early November because he had an eye injury that his previous owners opted not to treat.  His injury required surgery, which the MSPCA-Angell performed. Now his eyes are perfect and they match Kuvo's sparkly personality.

Kuvo is smart, really sweet and loves to play. Adoption center staffers are confident he'll do well with an individual owner or in a home with kind and gentle kids. He's never lived with cats so if he goes to a home with feline residents the introduction should be made slowly. Kuvo would also benefit from some basic puppy training classes, which the MSPCA offers (and interested adopters can inquire about when they visit the shelter).  Kuvo is already neutered and ready to go home today!
