BOSTON (AP) -- Life is getting back to normal in Massachusetts with the worst of the superstorm known as Sandy in the rear-view mirror.

Although there will be some showers on Tuesday, the National Weather Service says the worst is behind us.

The state Emergency Management Agency is sending out 31 "rapid assessment" teams Tuesday to determine where the worst damage was done and where to concentrate assistance.

State employees that got Monday off are expected to be back at work by 10 a.m. Tuesday, and the state's trial courts are scheduled to reopen at noon.

Some schools are reopening Tuesday but many are giving kids another day off because the electricity remains out and to give crews time to clean debris from the streets.

Air travelers flying out of Logan Airport are being to check with the airlines.
