MSPCA-Angell Pet of the Week: Tabatha the cat

Tabatha is a beautiful 10-year-old cat who is looking for a second chance.

This sweet and friendly feline was fortunate to have a home for her entire life -- but ended up at the MSPCA-Nevins Farm in Methuen, Mass. when her beloved owner suffered a stroke and could no longer care for her.  Tabatha will be available for adoption at no fee during the entire two weeks of the London Olympics as part of the MSPCA’s “Take Home the Gold!” campaign, an adoptathon specifically designed to showcase the many beautiful senior cats currently bunking down at the MSPCA’s adoption centers.

Tabatha loves to be petted and brushed. She enjoys sitting on laps and loves to snuggle. She can also play up a storm and loves to bat and chase cat wands (especially if there’s cat nip involved!).

She would make a fabulous addition to a quiet home. Tabatha would not mind a friendly dog or mellow cat like herself as a friend -- though, as always, introductions to other pets in the home should be made slowly.
