Pet of the Week: Simba the Cat

One-year-old Simba was brought to the MSPCA-Angell’s Centerville Animal Care and Adoption Center on Cape Cod on June 30th because his family’s dog kept chasing him, and he grew terrified and withdrawn. Because of what he went through the MSPCA-Centerville adoption staff would like to find a perfect dog-free home for him. Simba is as playful and adventurous as he is beautiful. He’s a striking orange tabby who is already neutered and up to date on all of his shots. He loves to play with all sorts of toys and is the perfect feline companion for someone who enjoys the company of a young active cat.

And while he’s scared of dogs he seems to get along great with other cats. So a household with other cats would be excellent, so long as he can be introduced slowly to the other cats in the home.

Simba is ready for his new home today. To learn more about him—as well as other cats, dogs birds and other small animals available for adoption at the MSPCA-Centerville—click here. The MSPCA Adoption Center in Centerville is located at 1577 Falmouth Road in Centerville, Mass. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. and Sunday from 12:00p.m. to 3:00p.m.
